Serpent

An English Serpent by Key of London  circa 1830. Stamped, KEY . 20 CHARING CROSS ROAD.  LONDON. Wooden, leather bound with brass crook, ferrell and three brass keys ( one mount missing) Complete with ivory mouth piece. In mostly sound condition by some renovation needed to play. The crook ( bocal) is cracked and dented. One brass mount missing.  Two key  springs also absent. One of the fingerhole ivory inserts has a late brass ring. £2850.
