A  19th century seven string fretless banjo. Labelled Keith Prowse & Co on the resonator back. Probably circa 1875-1880. Bone ended brass machine tuners, wide neck. Wooden pot with screw tensioners. In good original condition. Currently with steel strings but really should be gut. Overall length 93cm. Vellum width 25cm. With original wooden case. £325.  ref Bms036
