Tenor banjo

short scale tenor banjo. 17 fret, string playing length 34cm. Fitted with an 11inch Remo Weatherking head. detachable resonator. A well made early heavy tenor banjo, I would think circa 1915 when they were sometimes known as tango banjos, the resonator probably being a 1920s addition. The ebony fingerboard and the frets are in good shape. A fitted tone ring on top of the hoop. Plays nicely.  A makers name is not apparent. Not a banjolin (4 string mandolin banjo) £325
