A late 19th century German bass lute harp guitar, theorbo style. 12 string, 6 standard classical and 6 open bass notes. Inlaid with mother of pearl to the table edge and sound hole. MOP inlaid. A carved head finiale. Bone ended brass machine tuners. An attractive bowl back with alternate decorative woods. Playing order but currently two bass strings missing. The ebony tracery decoration of the bridge is missing on one side. £575 ref G310 |
