A rare an interesting contra-bass or  mando-bass   mandolin. Labelled : O. Playing order. Sound condition, it has been well played and has wear on the table and minor old repairs. The finger board is sound, some fret replacement. The neck is reasonably straight. Double bass style brass machine tuners. Tortoise shell butterfly inlay and a moon crescent on the table. Overall length 88 cm (spike end in).
