H008 Dital Harp Lute

A harp lute by Edward Light, London. These first appeared around 1816 and were popular for a few years as elegant ladies instruments. This one I think an early one and of smaller proportions of other I have come across. Fairly well preserved. Some re-gluing to joints etc. Currently with a couple of string pins absent and missing a dital link joint. An attractive and rare example with little needed to make playable. £1450
