*Folkestone, Dover & Deal Rock 'N' Roll Club*	50s rock n roll, strolling and bopping. . Lots of lively dancing, most dancers dressed for the occasion. A good bar including real ale. Perhaps the most enthusiastic and energetic were the children...100 members in their own club. The club takes part in contests, has a float of a pink Cadillac ! Well worth a visit or more.. Guildford Hot 50s	Tucked away, in a quiet backwater just outside Guildford the Hot 50s club is well worth a visit. With a nice atmosphere, not a vast impersonal hall. Friendly people of all ages. Rock n roll jive and lots of strolling. Bar with real ale, snacks available (rolls etc) record/ CD stall. Roy (above) a welcoming committee member. *Beauwaters*	A nice venue tucked away in the "dodgy" end of North Fleet, Gravesend. Good large dance floor. Carpeted seating areas. Separate bars. Run by "comedy" Pete Bruce who plays a good selection with the record hop. A lively crowd and well attended popular venue. Live bands twice monthly. Separate large bar area. *Kalamazoo jive*	A truly brilliant venue and club. A buzzing dance floor with all styles. One of the few clubs where there is a true mix of rock-n-roll, lindy hop and swing jive. A good sized dance floor and plenty of seating but it gets crowded so get there early. A warm welcome from Janneke (above) and a good balance of music with resident DJ Colin (below) . They occasionally have theme nights. Bring your own booze. Starts 8pm Saturdays. Mostly twice monthly. .Kalamazoo	As R-n-R has its roots with Lindy Hop and swing with many moves not much different It is strange that some clubs are elitist about their dance styles. One of the best clubs with mixed styles is Brighton, Kalamazoo. A wonderful mix of 30s 40s 50s jive music played there.		*Interestingly the 50s film Don't Knock the Rock, with Bill Hailey has jivers doing Lindy and swing as R-n-R !!!*
